WA provides curriculum, equipment, and instructors to schools and youth groups participating in our programs, as well as support to teachers who wish to integrate watershed education into their current curriculum. WA also provides internship opportunities to undergraduate students who wish to gain valuable, hands-on experience and training in environmental education. Interns serve as Watershed Educators providing educational programming in schools and other academic settings throughout the basin. All of our programs include both classroom and field components and center on science as inquiry. Explore our programs online.
As a bridge between research and the community, our program aims to connect K-12 teachers and their students with real world challenges and engage students in hands-on field science and stewardship to improve water quality in the basin.
Please note the fall 2024 schedule is full, stay tuned for the spring 2025 program season!
