Research Projects

Through a competitive research process, Lake Champlain Sea Grant and its partners fund research projects that inform land and water management practices and policy decisions in favor of ecosystem health and sustainable economies. View Requests for Proposals.

Fellowships & Assistantships

Scholarships

Lake Champlain Sea Grant offers a 15-month Sea Grant Scholars program for University of Vermont first- and second-year undergraduate students interested in the sciences and related fields. Learn more about our scholarship and other opportunities.

Student Internships

Lake Champlain Sea Grant's Watershed Alliance offers student internships as Watershed Educators who teach about stream ecology and watershed science in local schools in both the classroom and field setting. Learn more about Watershed Alliance student internships with Lake Champlain Sea Grant. Additional student internships may become available on an adhoc basis.
