The Climate Smart Communities program helps local governments in New York State take action to reduce carbon emissions and adapt to a changing climate. Some benefits of the program include: free technical assistance and better positioning to compete on grant applications for some state funding programs.

Local government leaders in New York State and community members eager to be involved are welcome! In this one-hour webinar, you will get an overview of the program and hear first-hand experience from the City of Plattsburgh's climate task force.
