Fishing workshop

Date/Time:
Sunday, April 6, 2025 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

Lake Champlain Sea Grant, Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department, and the Lake Champlain Basin Program will be hosting a fishing education program on Sunday, April 6, from 10:00 AM until NOON. Participants will learn about local fishing regulations, water safety, and the basics of how to fish. Note that this will be an indoor session with NO hands on fishing in Lake Champlain due to cold water conditions.

Participants who complete the workshop will receive a free fishing pole and fishing license (for those ages 16 and older). Participation is capped at 30 people. Once 30 people have registered, we will form a waiting list. You will be alerted to your status (that is, whether you are on the waiting list or among the first 30 who register). Workshop location will be shared in the confirmation email.
