The Vermont Use Value Appraisal Program or Current Use Program is an alternative tax program that allows eligible agricultural and forestland to be assessed based on its “use value” rather than its fair market value. This course will provide Real Estate professionals with the information they need to inform clients regarding Current Use eligibility, as well as the responsibilities, potential penalties, and the many benefits of Current Use enrollment for property buyers and sellers.
